UConn-Florida History

Tonight's match up of the UConn Huskies and Florida Gators has taken place before. On Dec. 8, 1991 the Huskies beat the Gators by a score of 71-48, here at Gample Pavilion. That night Amanda Butler started for the Gators that night and scored six points, tonight she will coach the Gators against the undefeated Huskies. Rebecca Lobo had yet to make her mark on UConn as she was still comming off the bench but managed to score 14 points. Also notable is the fact the UConn's Maya Morre and Florida's Jordan Jones were playing together on the same team at this time.
