Montgomery Breaks Record

When Renee Montgomery walked onto the floor to start the game tonight she firmly put herself into UConn's record books. She came into the game tied with Jen Rizzoti for the most consecutive starts in UConn history with 135. Montgomery also has more career starts than any player in the nation. Her 143 career starts out number the next closest player, Oklahoma's Courtney Paris, by 14.
